Default Front passenger window will roll down but not up

1997 v70
I have seen this discussion for other models, but not confident that those explanations apply here.

Front passenger window will roll down but not up. I have purchased a new switch and another motor (used) and this hasn't solved the problem. Same issue regardless of which new/old switch and original/2nd motor combination I try.

Driver switch has also been replaced because it went bad earlier. Driver's control for front passenger window won't even roll windown down (or up), but other windows work fine.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Every time I've had a problem with a window, it's been dirty contacts in the switch. If you've replaced the switch and the motor, then you've got some kind of wiring issue. It's probably (unfortunately) just a matter of tracing wiring. Start by checking to see if you've got power coming to the motor, and work backwards from there.
