Default Key Chime with no key in ignition - just replaced ignition cylinder

I just replaced the ignition cylinder in my 1999 V70 XC. That was a beast. Nail set - No; Screw extractor - No; Drill, angle grinder, and chisle - Finally.

Now that I have the new clyinder in, the key in ignition chime stays on when the car is not running and a door is open, but the key is removed from the ignition. I saw a recent thread about this in the S70 forum from a few days ago, but it had already closed.

The ignition switch (electrical part) was changed within the last 6 months. My plan is to open the steering column back up and remove and reset all of the wiring harnesses for the ignition system - unless any of you have a wise suggestion.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Take care,

Brian
