New Volvo dude. Can someone tell me more about my car?
I just bought a 1998 Volvo V70 GLT AWD 2.4 Turbo and I'm in love with it. I wanted to know of this wagon is a sleeper since I like fast cars. Does it have power or is it a snail? If anybody has more information relavent to My model V70 please share. Thank you

So I take it you have not driven it yet? I like it. I would say plenty of power, but the Turbo 2.4 is not as fast as the T5. Cars today have a lot of horsepower so I don't think it's fast by modern standards.
There is an ownership thread about the 850 which would mostly apply to your car. In addition to all that, you have AWD, which has some other things you have to take care of.

1998 V70 in general is a good vehicle. The turbo and AWD aspect of your car will likely need attention that a base model will not require. That said, as long as routine maintenance has been done on this vehicle, it should last you awhile. Speaking of that, how many miles are on it? Do you know when the last timing belt / water pump service was? How about the PCV service? I would suggest you watch Robert Spinner's youtube videos regarding these items. FCP Euro also has some good videos on their Youtube channel.
I would say if you wanted something very fast to drag race with or beat on, this is probably not the car for you. However, if you appreciate a solid turbo wagon, AWD and the utility the wagon offers, this will be a good vehicle for you. Best of luck.
