Need some help. I changed the oil pressure sensor on my 1998 V70 XC. And some how I cross threaded on the install. Now I have a oil leak. Can I just tap out the hole ? Or anything else ?

I don't see how you can cross thread pipe, but certainly there are many ways out. that hole would be possible to get to if you had to drill it out to a larger size.

You could try various thread sealants first. Anaerobic, permatex, teflon tape. All three at once.

 

Thanks Permatex Worked great. I don't know how .But some how I did cross thread the reinstall of the. oil pressure sensor.
