Hi, Just purchased a 1999 V70 Cross Country with 110K miles.
So far so good...I had it checked out by two Volvo mechanics and they tell me it's in great condition. I'm now doing some minor cosmetic repairs. The plate cover that goes over the gear shift handle on my vehicle is cracked and broken so I ordered a new one...just don't know how to get the new one on! I've fiddled with it, but I'd to push and tug too much as I might damage something. Does anyone know how to pop this baby on? I'll attach a photo of the new cover for reference.

As far as I know, it should pop right off. I don't think there are any screws holding it down.
