Replaced ETM, reset it, car idles a bit rough
Fellow V70ers,
I have a 2000 V70 AWD SE (basically, the XC) and had to replace the ETM.
Due to the fact three of the bolts broke off while taking off the ETM, I had to take the manifold off, drill out the bolts, etc., etc.
Got the car back together with the same model number replacement ETM. Came off a salvage car with 65,000 on it. Guaranteed to be a good ETM unit. Set the ETM up properly prior to starting the car back up (i.e., coding).
Car runs great when going; but, is just slightly rough on the idle when at stop lights or parked and running. Not a bad off idle, just enough to notice it.
Wondering if one of you fellow Volvo lovers could give me a clue regarding what could be the issue causing the slight rough idle when parked and idling or at stops. Put it all back together the way everything came off; i.e., manifold,replaced manifold gasket, replaced ETM gasket, reconnected all hoses, etc.
