Angry switched out air filter and now car idles rough

hey guys i have 1995 volvo 850 glt n/a 20valve
i recently moved to California and had to smog my car. i pass everything and almost got the green light but for one thing. i didnt have a sticker for my air intake so i failed , sooo i go out and buy a "Legal" intake and i put it on, while i was installing the new filter, i unplugged the maf???( the one between the intake and the throttle body) sensor and put everything back on and forgot to plug it back in. i noticed after i started the car it was unplugged and plugged it back in now its tripping the check engine light and running rough and wont idle smoothly,it also lunges and lerks when i slow down and apply the brakes.

what going on?????????????

You need to clear the computer. It thinks the maf is still faulty and is trying to compensate.

You need to clear the codes and see if it resets. If it resets you still have a problem. If you've already replaced the sensor than it might be in the connector at the sensor or the wiring between the sensor and the ECM or even a bent pin or dirty/tarnished connection at the ECMs connector.
