Default Stalling problem

I have a 2000 Volvo v70. First thing in the morning I started it and it stalled. To restart it I had to give it gas. It runs fine after that no problems. The car has been sitting for a while so I wonder if that is part of the problem. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

No suggestion. You may have needed to build fuel pressure. That car is drive by wire, not sure if it has an idle control valve.

See if it has a cold start problem again tomorrow or later today. Let it sit for 6+ hours and try to start it.
