Tire Size
#2
when you say larger - do you mean taller or wider? as background, the 215 refers to the tread width but your tire size is really a composite of the rim diameter (ie 15 or 16 inches), the tread width (ie 195, 215 etc) and finally the aspect ratio. That's the ratio of the tread width to the tire's sidewall height. Reason that's important is that if you go to a taller rim or wider treadwidth, you want to factor in the aspect ratio to keep the rolling circumference the same as factory so as to not alter the speedometer and odometer. Check out wheel-size.com for factory sizes and tirerack.com to find available sizes and the rolling circumferences. 215s are not really overly wide considering the factory installs 205s on some models so I wouldn't worry about clearance
