2000 v70xc car wont move in reverse fluid has been changed it started shortly after changing it. Is the trans no good.

 

start by pulling OBD-II codes. You may see some errors pointing to solenoids. Its conceivable the valve body could be gummed up. If not then you can look into the shift position sensors or cabling. Also check the fluid level... (following the published procedure)

 

Do your reverse lights work? This may have to do with your PNP switch. It is one of the most common sources of transmission issues in the 850 and 70 series.
Also read the OBD2 codes. That could point you directly to the problem.

 

What kind of fluid did you use?

 

No codes at all reverse lights work when I put it in reverse you can feel it go in. It moves a little then stops all forward gears work good fluid is good.
