Boy, what a pain in the tookus
Fellow XC70ers and Admins and Mods,
I'm a desperate because when I took my ETM off my 2000 XC70, 3 of the bolts broke off into the aluminum manifold. All I was using was a regular socket set, WD40, and going slow. Snap, Snap, Snap. They just mus have seized. Got one out all the way - yahoo!!.
So, I'm looking for a schematic for the manifold on a 2000 XC70 and I pray some wonderful Volvo soul can point me to one. It looks simple; but, I want to make certain I don't encounter some God Awful hidden bolt or other surprise.
Given I have to tap out the broken screws, I sure hope the manifold is an easy disassembly.
Also, I have an oil leak that I can't find. I've looked in all the common places and it's driving me nuts. Any ideas re: super secret oil leak areas would also be helpful. The underside pan is covered in oil.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Volvo and have owned 3 of them.
Thanks so much and God Bless
