Having major issues with my wagon. Car running very rough. ABS light kept coming up, transmission needs servicing in message box, this is after the treanny shifts down a gear (?) Thought it was ABS module, changed that didnt work. New message - brake failure. stop asap! Now thinking it may be CEM , Much more expensive . But is this what is causing problem. It almost like the timing is off, the car is vibrating , especially at stop and red lights. 261,000 km on car. Not sure weather to give up on her. Just recently put on new tires, struts, brake pads. What to do?

 

I'd have the brakes bled as you may have air in the system. The abs sensors are just below the master brake reservoir on the engine firewall. The rough idle could be the ETM needing cleaning. Tranny shifting could be the need for a new B4 servo cover.
