Smile 2006 v70 2.5t, "power system service urgent"

Hello, all.
On my 2006 V70 station-wagon, I'm getting warning lights, on dash. Red triangle and Battery icons come on at the same time. with service message POWER SYSTEM SERVICE URGENT. The lights do go on and off while driving. Car has 112k miles. Bought it used, recently. ENGINE CODE B5254T2, CHASIS 589090
Anyone help describe what service or DIY repair to follow up ?
By the way, 2 months ago, installed a new car-battery
I'm in process of DIY replacing the PCV Breather kit system ( Had a massive oil leak) Timing Belt Kit ( due to mileage) O2 sensor, Crankshaft sensor and drive belt. Right now, there is a P0036 and P0017 codes, Check engine light is on. Just did oil ( full synthetic) change. Using video on internet to help carry out repairs.
Tried to replace spark plugs but the Coil separated in middle while pulling out. So quickly attached it back on the spark plug and hope to read up/video, on how to fix that prob.
Like the car but not happy with all the sudden, costly, repairs after just buying the car.
Thx

In reverse order:
>A coil came apart as you lifted it out of a cylinder? Only one? Which cylinder?
Did you undo the small hold-down bolt?
Obviously replace a physically broken one. Examine the others.
See if they're Volvo or aftermarket

>P0017, P0036 refer to your downstream O2 sensor.
Replace it with Volvo or Denso brand only.
NO universal / one-size-fits-all units with crimp-on connections EVER
E-Z reach in my car as the connections for both sensors are in a mount just ahead and a little higher of where you'd see the steering column exit the firewall.

> Let's hope no ignition woe damaged the cat.
CONVENIENT, CHEAP, junkyard O2 sensor from a Volvo can save you a few $.

> Charge your battery while you're working then check your charging system when you're all back together.

Not horribly expensive but I hear you.
