Anyone with any good links to DIY or Write ups on Solenoid removal. Can't find any Any good tips besides lowering the subframe? Probably going to tackle this tomorrow. Doesn't look to bad, it looks like its right in front. Will I need to support the engine when lowering the sub frame?

 

Have you already done the job? I just did the valve body 3 linear solenoid replacement on my car ('01 V70 XC).

(assuming that you haven't already done it).

I didn't have to drain the radiator fluid, but I did flush (2 quarts at a time) all the transmission fluid until it came out bright red. Make sure you get new o-rings for the radiator and transmission cooling lines, especially the one on the transmission side of the lower cooling hose.
