Default Bad oil leak!

Hi, new to this. I have a 2003 V70. Yesterday we pulled into the parking spot too far and the parking block hit something. About 20 minutes later we notice its pouring oil when it's running. What could it be? Be nice, I'm no mechanic.
Not sure of mileage because electrical problems and gauges and lights dont work. Probably a hunk of junk, but I'm trying to fix it.

Sounds to me like you probably damaged the oil pan or the oil filter housing. Not the end of the world unless you continue to drive it with little to no oil. A new oil pan is quite expensive but you should be able to source a used one from a wreckyard without too much issue. If you got lucky and it’s just the oil filter housing just pick one up from the dealership or junkyard.

Today is Monday. Your incident was Friday. Have you looked at your impact zone yet?

The poor car could be on its way to the automobile graveyard as I type this.

If it leaks when running, my guess would be the filter. You should be so lucky. It's right there in the front and of course it runs under pressure.

Default Sump / oil-pan replacement.

If you have cracked the oil-pan it's no big job, unbolts and dropps off.
Make sure you use the corrent jointing compound and a new 'O' ring.

Also make sure the two LONG BOLTS go back in the right place.
