Cam seal replacement and PCV cleaning.

Cam seal replacement and PCV cleaning.
Hi all. I have a 2006 v70 2.5T. I recently replaced a bad cam seal (front exhaust I beleive. The one closest to the windshield). I took it for a quick drive and it runs great and no more oil leak. I have a check engine light on but I think that is due to the timing being slightly off.
however I'm getting a decent amount of back blow out of the top of the engine (that little hole below the oil cap). Upon further reading I see that my cam seal likely went bad due to a clogged PCV system. Is there a way to clean it out without replacing it? I just dropped $150 into it and I'm broke as a joke. At least for the next two weeks. I put a new water pump and timing belt in as well. This is my first time working on a volvo so I'm trying to get my cards right before I attempt it.
thanks!

If you want to do the minimal, change the trap, clean the rest.

Do it sooner rather than later, or your cam/crank seals can blow out again.
