Carfax replace Drive Belts = Timing?
Hello, I'm a newbie here.
I am looking at an 04 V70 with 136k miles that I might purchase.
I have a couple questions. This Car has a very detailed Carfax service record. Really looks like the main owner did all regular maintenance and repairs through a Volvo dealer. With a report this detailed including regular mileage service I do not see timing belt replacement.
At 107k miles I see " Drive Belt(s) replaced could this be the timing belt? I also at 122k miles see 120,000 Miles Service performed.
At 135 I see recommended maintenance performed. This report is so detailed with almost all service performed at the same dealer it is hard to believe this wasn't done. Where should I look for the timing belt sticker? Is it possible a dealer could replace the timing belt without placing the sticker?
Question 02
I see at 70k the radiator, transmission and oil coolant lines were replaced,
but I see no accident report. Could it just be it overheated? Any know reason to replace both the radiator and transmission?
If this V70 had regular service at a Volvo dealer, anything I should look out for?
Thanks so much
Brad

I paraphrased poorly, here is a copy and paste from Carfax.
Computer(s) checked
Drivability/performance checked
Engine oil cooler line(s) repaired/replaced
Radiator replaced
Transmission replaced
Thanks

If the transmission fluid was contaminated, replacement of the lines and radiator is done at the same time.
As for the timing belt, I would bet it was replaced. If you know what dealer did the work, call them. Their records will be more detailed.
It is certainly possible that the belt was replaced at the tech tossed the sticker. I've seen that a lot.
