Default clunk in rear

I have a clunking noise in the rear of the vehicle when I depress the gas pedal in forward or reverse. it only clunks once per directional change. It sounds like it's coming from the rear differential area. Has anyone seen this problem or have any suggestions? all bushings, joints, etc. seem to be ok. I also have replaced the driveshaft for the carrier bearing being bad. the noise was there before the replacement. Any help is appreciated.
thankyou.

I had similar problem, turned out to be rear sway bar control arm link. The bushings on the link were shot causing the noise. Cheap easy fix, (replaced both right and left side) hopefully same for you!
