clunk from rear when driving over potholes
Hi there everyone,
I have a clunking noise coming from the rear of my V40 whed driving over potholes and rough roud serfices. I have taken everything out of the boot well around the spare tyre and the noise is still there.
I had the MOT done and it passed with no problems but when it was up on the rampi was told that the Antiroll bar bushes could do with replacing soon. Could this be where the noise is coming from? What about the exhaust, how much play should there be and am i being over precautious!
Any ideas from people who have dealt with a similar problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks from a newbee

Well i thought i would reply to my own post...................
I bought replacement anti roll bar linkage for both sides and had the old ones taken off/replaced and now there is no noise. £24 on parts and £40 for the labour. :-)
