Hello all, today i bought a 2002 volvo v70 2.4 petrol, i paid £170 for the car and the engine is sweet as a nut but the previous owner staded that the engine management light has been on for the 8000 miles, as it is quite obviously not a major fault i was hoong somebody somewhere could shed some light as to why the check engine light is on? Kind regards 😊

The whole purpose of the check engine light is that the powertrain computer wants to send you a message. So you need to find out what that message is.
