Engine Management Light
Hi All ,
First time here . I have a X (2000) plate S40 T4 with 80K on the clock . Serviced ecery year by previous owner . I have had the car for 6 mths and the engine management light has come on . Also the Service light came on last week . Are they linked .
What does the engine management light mean . I have been told it means Big Trouble . But I have not got the Manual .
Please help before I wreck itor something .
P.S . Is it safe to drive ??

The engine managment light means codes in the engine control module.
The service light is an oil change reminder light.
It might be safe to drive for the moment but I would have it looked at soon.
