First,, I am from denmark therefore the bad english 
Ive got an defective instrument in my v70 from 2002..
Anyone who has tried to install an instrument from 2004 ?
it wont work just plug and play.. but perhaps anyobe have had any luck with new software or anything..?

I have read that they will plug in and a few will work.
Later on connecting a VADIS will have problems due to the differing "marriage numbers".
Better to send yours to a rebuild shop. They're in the UK and probably the Continent too.
