Loss of power V70
Hi there,
Have a 2001 V70 (140k - in Australia). Noticed recently that after about 20kms, the car sometimes just loses power - sounds and feels like it's a small car. After stopping for a while it runs normally again.
In Australia Volvo didn't replace the faulty ETMs they just updated the software to be less sensitive to it - as a result, mine is original. Are these symptoms indicative of a faulty ETM?
Could this be a turbo issue?
The check engine light is on - but that's to do with the breather pipe (which I had replaced, only to find that the pipe was over tightened and snapped off in the return) - I managed to 'fix' that, but not until it had poured oil all over the top of the engine (causing the alert).
I live remotely, so it's not practical to get the car to Volvo to get the codes investigated.
Thanks in advance...
