My V70 2002 has the neutral problem, I went to DITEC the dealer in Chile and they tried to load the software 30646691 but they said me it was not possible. I have done to oil changes in the last month and I have used the recomended Volvo ATF.

Is there other way to eliinate this function in the car, Is it possible to change the TCM getting a new one reprogramed?
Till I understand to do a software update to the tCM doesn't help with this problem
I woudl appreciate your coments in this issue

If your car does not have the latest software the S/N removal should load automatically.

Are you SURE you have a S/N issue or could it be something else?

All they need to do is try to load the latest TCU software.
If it will not accept it, the reason it will not load is because your car already has it!

 

Yes it is the neutral problem, so if I understand well loading a TCM upgrade it will remove the neutral function when you are in D and brake aplied.?

What are you talking about?
Removal of the S/N is part of the latest transmission software, has been for several years now.
Pretty hard to go 11-12 years with no new software.

What's all that other stuff you're talking about, what does removal of stop neutral mean to you?

Yes You are right, I want to remove this function, so I will go to the dealer and ask for a TCM update to solve my problem. Thanks for your help
