Default Our headlight squirters

I have a 2007 V70 base.
Can the headlight squirters be disabled?
For my situation they are not at all needed. The spray flies onto the hood and windshield at speed.

Thanks G&K

did you try disconnecting the headlight wiper motor or do you want to retain that function? Not sure if that will stop the water flow but I think there is a T connector over on the passenger side inner fender to send fluid from the pump to the headlights and up to the hood. You may be able to replace that with a straight tube to shunt the water feed to the lamps.

There's no wiper. It's just a jet of fluid.
I wanted to gather as much intel as I could before going in and disconnecting things.
For example: Are the squirt jets 100% fluid pressure powered or do they raise electrically?
Is there more than one washer fluid pump or is there a super strong booster pump in the bumper near the squirter?

Remove the fuse for the headlight washer pump. Check your owner's manual for the location.
