Hi all. I have a volvo v70 sports (2007) with a problem with the left hand low beam. When i turn the ignition on and start the car the low beam goes out on the passenger side. I turn the ignition off, then start the car again and it comes on. What is the problem? Any ideas please?

 

could be an connection/connector or a failing relay in the ECM. Start with the easy by replacing the bulb and making sure there's good contacts. On older models its a good idea to jiggle the key to see if its an ignition switch issue.

 

Thanks for the reply. I have already tried new bulbs and checked the connections, they seem fine. I have checked some of the fuses but haven't found anything. I don't have any other problems, can't figure it out.
