Hi everyone,

I have a 2007 Volvo V70 2.4D, 5 speed manual gearbox.
And i have the next problem:

While driving the car in 3rd and 4th gear has a "trrrrrrrrrrr" or something like that noise. If you press the clutch pedal, while in 3rd and 4th gear, or accelerate the noise disappears.

Gears are changed normally, easy and without any difficulty or noise.

What is the cause of this problem?


I need some advice on what is the problem and where should I be start looking for problems.

I'm having the same issue with my 2008 C30, 6 spd manual.
what turned out to be the problem or repair? my shop just wants to swap the transmission, $$$$!
