I just picked up a 2001 V70 T5, and I'm going through it thoroughly to do a bunch of needed & preventative maintenance.

I pulled the intake tube from the air box to the turbo in order to clean the PTC, however, when I tried to physically remove the PTC from the intake tube, the rubber seal that holds the PTC in place started to crack and fall apart.

Soooo, looks like I'll be replacing the PTC instead of just cleaning it. Is it correct that i have to buy the entire intake tube in order to get the PTC? Where can I purchase this? I haven't been able to locate the PTC/tube for sale anyplace... Also, I think I read someplace that there is an aftermarket product that is better & similarly priced as the Volvo OEM? Any advice on how to proceed would be much appreciated!
