Brake and abs warning lights(cruise and mileage not working) on my 04 xc70. P0571 pd and P0504 pd ECM-9400 u0073. Faulty BCM or pedal sensor or maybe cem??? What I hear is there is two exterior sensor?? one is brake position sensor and brake pedal sensor??

Bought that car over a month ago with abs lights(cruise and mileage not working) on assuming not that complexity and costs but... Replaced rear brake pads and cleaned all wheel sensors. Three times dashes went down after few hours driving and restart after refuel or stopover otherwise motor running ok. Had to take fuse off cem from side passenger and on.. back to normal except cruise and mileage with brake and abs lights on.. all of this I assume it is faulty bcm or pedal sensor or perhaps cem??


Any help would be appreciated very much!

 

Ever figure this out? Having similar issues on a 2007 XC70.

 

mnvolvo, did you scan for the ABS fault codes? by "similar issues" how similar? have you had any recent brake/axle/suspension work?

 

Have you been able to get rid of your issue ? My 04 s60 has the same codes as the op's car . p0504 and p0571.
