I have a 2002 XC-70 and the power adjust on the driver's seat has issues. It (usually) works and you can adjust the seat before you start the car and when it works, it works perfectly (all functions work). After you start the car (or even sometimes if you open a door and leave the door open for a couple of minutes), the seat wont work. It will often work if you try it after the car sits for a while (ex, drive to the store and when you come out it might work).

My hunch is that something is heating up electrically and causing the seats to not work but that's just a guess. Is there a relay that might be bad?

FYI, the seat heaters work fine and the passenger's seat works fine all the time.
