Default how to access the lower unit fuse box. Climate system blower is not working

Hi, could anyone please guide me on how to access the lower unit fuse box. My climate system blower on my xc70 2010 is not working anymore and I want to check if it is the fuse #11 40A.
Thank you

The fuse is probably fine i have a xc60 2010 and on those cars the problem is the blower itself.
What i did was removing the side lower panel ( on the driver side its the one closest to your right foot for us cars ) once the cover is removed take a long bar with a hammer and tap the blower ( and yes you can reach it ) a couple of times and it will start working.
yes this is a quick fix that wont last forever but at least you will have your blower in the meantime...

Default Thanks, some guidance please

If I understood correctly you mean the panel in the middle console beside the gas pedal (US/Can model). How do I get it off? Just pry it carefully?
Thanks in advance.

Unhappy

2008 XC70

Sorry to revive this zombie thread, but I am having the exact same problem: no fan. Nothing. Not on high, not intermittent. Just dead.

I found this thread because I was looking for info on how to access the relay under the fuse box. But maybe I will try the caveman method of tapping the motor.

My question is, is it better to access the motor through the instrument panel, than under the driver footwell?

Thanks
