Needing techinacal assistance please
Sorry for the poor spelling above.... I have spent all afternoon searching the web, and have come up empty handed.... Any guidance is appreciated!
2004 XC70 154,000 miles
Has an IPD TCV
Issue: generally at highway speeds and applying throttle to pass or climbing a grade ( Utah ), the car will "boost" and accelerate very well, but when it is time to upshift, the engine will "mis" or hesitate 2-3 times before upshifting. It does not cause a chk eng light every time, but probably every 3rd occurrence it does. The codes are P0234 ( over boost condition ) and P1651 ( something in regards to the ecm? ). When these codes occur, the car goes into limp mode. Turn the car off and restart, all is good until the next time..... The MAF appears to be reading fine, smooth increase / decrease with throttle. I only have access to a standard OBD2 scanner, but it does record, graph, etc.
I did find a few threads similar to this, but all "dead ended" with no resolution.
Thank your for your help!

You would likely do best by posting on a site that deals with mods better, like www.swedespeed.com or send a tech question to iPd.
