Hi all,
I'm a new member and just joined the forum, and i have purchased a 2009 JDM XC70 3.2 in Aug this year.

The car is in great condition etc but i have noticed the lighting/back illumination on the speedo and rev counter dials are pretty dim.
The dash illumination wheel is set on the brightest setting but even so the needles are very hard to see especially at night, as are the mph/rev numbers on the dials.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify this issue or shed any light on how to make the dials brighter etc?
Is there any actual backlighting on the printed dials or just the overhead lights on the underside top of the cluster housing?

I am aware the original dials can be retro-fitted with the later TFT dials but i don't really want to jump straight to that option.

Any advise appreciated.
