I have a 2004 XC and recently the radio just stopped working. I checked the fuses and every one is okay. After reading some forums and thinking the radio was fried I bought the same 613 model that came out of another 2004, same serial no. and I know it works, and have a warranty. Well, I installed it and still nothing. The wire harness looks in great shape too.

Can anyone tell me if there is a relay that could be out. I noticed there is a FFM7 relay called out for"accessories".

 

I have the same problem and its Volvo who won't admit that there is a problem. Went to my dealer after my radio stopped picking up AM stations and was told it was due to a seperate relay from the radio and that the replacement cost was $1200.00 and not covered under warrenty. I have a 2008 model. very frustrating as I have never "broken" a radio before
