Our XC70 has the dealer optional bike rack (Thule I think?) Anyways, my wife wants me to remove it from the luggage rack. I easily removed the bike carriers, but the cross rails appear to have a tamper-resistant torx-style cross bolt with a center pin. It looks like you need a special torx tool with a hollow center to remove these guys. Does anyone know what size these are? (T-xx)

 

Ended up going to Harbor Freight and had to buy a whole set of "Security" tool bits (cost me $7.43). I was able to loosen the clamps and remove the rails - yea! It's a modified T-35 bit that actually fit, btw.
