Hello,

I have a 1990 volvo 240 DL sedan that I purchased a steering rack from a website called "Low Mileage Parts". My mechanic tried to install it today said it is not the right one.

I went to Jorgen Automotive to see if they could tell me which one I needed. They told me there is only one kind, the only difference is how it is mounted. My mechanic still tells me there are two types and a dealer should be able to tell me which I need based on my VIN.

Does anyone know which way I should go? I do see that there is one with a banjo fitting, the other is a pipe fitting. My mechanic said the one that is on there is a banjo fitting.
