i have a 1989 740 turbo, and 2 weeks ago i had it in the shop to get a oil pressure valve gauge (or something like that) replaced. when i got it back my turbo was not working. when the foots to the floor the presure builds in the manifold, as shown on the boost gauge, but its stop at the yellow line and is not let into the engine and im only getting the dry 160 hp instead of the good 200 with the turbo. and for anyone who likes speed and and has parents who like safty, this turbo not working isnt good. it seems like the waste gate is opening up to soon.... the linkage as far as i can tell has no leaking in it, and i dont see any lose hoses, and i also cant see anywhere my manifold gasket blown....
