I havea Volvo 940 turbo. We have owned the car for about 2 years and when we bought it we had new brake pads put on so I am pretty sure that can not be the problem. The sounds seems to only happen when I am turning and have the break pedal pushed down. Any thoughts??? A friend of mine said he thought it was the CV boot, but when I told him it was rear wheel drive then he said that couldn't be it. HELP!!</P>

have u checked ur rotors? could be warped or damaged somehow.
