Gearbox fault
Hi,
Can anyone advise, I have a 440 TD 1996; the main bearings in the gearbox are getting very noisy. What’s the best option? Replace the bearings at a big expense or run the risk of getting a second hand box with the same problem. My car hasn’t done that much mileage (68k) so that doesn’t fill me with much confidence of the build quality of the boxes!
