Volvo 460. When I turn from 2nd shift to neutral position the car turn's off.
Hello there!
I have one issue with my Volvo 460 car. I will show you the situation.
When I am driving and at slow speed turn from 2nd shift to neutral position the car so many times turn's off or are near that. The motor makes a non called aceleration and sometimes almost turn off and sometimes turn´s off. It's bad because I need to make a start of the car in moving or stop the car and turn on again. Can you tell me if something similar happen to you? Or Can you tell me a way to solve it?

Same problem on 440 1.8i
I touch the gas everyime when pressing clutch so engine cant turn off, my rear muffler exploded in 2nd gear, then car was a little better when explosion didnt turning off so many times.try to read error codes from your 460
