Would like to buy/make an adapter so that I can plug an iPod into the CD socket on the back of my radio. The car is a 1995 850, and the socket is an 8- or 9-pin socket resembling a PS/2 keyboard or mouse socket on a computer. Does anyone know where I can get such a gizmo, what type of socket this is, etc.?

Adapter is available from several manufacturers. Will really depend on your budget and time frame needed. Figure you will spend 45-180$ on the adapter for iPod. USASpec, Blitzsafe, and a company I can't recall make a version.

 

There are lot of adapter for ipod.I have bought Blitzsafe ipod adapter.It was so pretty and cool.It stability is more than other adapter.It would be lucky for my ipod.I like it.
