Wife's car, per window sticker, has "satellite radio prep" which cost the original owner $75.00. But no satellite radio. Now what? Given the lack of empty dash space, it looks like a replacement is needed for the whole sound system up to the speaker wires. Car is 06 V70.

Any ideas how much it will cost to install a sat. radio in this car? And how much of a job it is, given Volvo's preference for secrecy about shop manuals?

Or am I better off rigging in the IPod adaptor as described elsewhere?
