Default Need advice

Hey guys

Im new at this so i havnt learned all the lingo yet. But at anyrate im getting a 1989 Volvo 740 GL (4 door sedan) and i wanted to put in a new engine and transmission for starters. Im looking into a nice little turbo engine. I found a place that if i buy the engine and stuff i want to be put into the car they will install it and only charge me labor and anyparts they need to buy. The car itself is in very good shape. But the engine is pushing 300k.

Any help about where i can find and buy an engine system will be great, the engine doesnt have to be new.

Scott

To be honest, the best thing to do is buy an already turboed Volvo. Don't waste the time and money to get a turbo engine replacement.

Well I mean your looking for a 740 turbo engine. 740's are cheap anyways, just look for a turboed 740 and be done with it.
