Default Computer issues

When is the forum going to 'correct' their web page so that it will not be necessary for me to 'program' my computer just for this forum? I find it difficult to believe that the forum has not corrected this issue! As it stands, I spend less and less time on the forum as I am generally "kicked" out when browsing the threads.............
Fix this thing!

I have three excellent notebooks................2 Dell 300's and an IBM x40...............all three of them get kicked out of the forum at various stages of perusing the site. This does not occur for any other web site...............none but this one. I recall appx one month ago each heading had a notice that you had to go into Tools or some other area to fix the forum's problem. I won't do that as it should not be necessary. At any rate TECH, that is the reason I do not participate much on the forum any more. By the way, did we ever come to a conclusion about Asin/Warner trans fluid? OK, just kidding..............bad subject!

Yes............I followed each and every post. It was getting nasty! I recall when Black Beauty and I were getting a tad touchy on a subject that was meaningless. It was not long before both of us saw the light of day and knocked it off. I have respect for Black Beauty for letting it drop. I suppose the trans fluid issue was such that a long time ago I decided to take the Volvo to the dealer for the trans and radiator service.........if only because I do not want to deal with a few gallons of used trans and antifreez fluids. The dealer is a deep pocket and so if the dealer puts the wrong fluid in............well............I know that I will be made whole.

I hear you. I just had to make my Point that I wasn't totally wrong Like I was being accused of.
I did know what I was saying for the most part. And had the proof to back it up.

I'll have to agree with reg here, the cookies on this site just dont seem persistent. I have to log in every time I come, I wouldnt mind so much if there was a login on the main forum, but the login takes us through more pages than necessary.

Again, it might have to do with our computers, I use firefox.

Default RE: Computer and iphone

I just got an iphone and my friend is a computer genius and i was wondering if there was any way for him to connect to my 2004 s60 with his comp so he can write a program for my phone to act as a key fob. I was just wondering if it was possible for him to interact with the cars on board computer with his? It may not be possible at all.
