I am getting very few posts per page, and then when I try to go to the 2nd page, it takes forever and then comes back with website not found. I have been trying to read stuff on this board for two days now and have had problems every time. Don't know if it's my connection or what? But I know it's not that on the few threads per page.

 

I noticed the low threads per page.

But I am not having any trouble with anything else like you are.

It works fine for me. It must be your PC and or your browser. Or your internet connection.

 

I see the few posts per page (10 to be exact)
But I to am still having some problems with it changing slowly espically going to a new post. Like a new reply.
But if I click on the entire post and scroll to the bottom it is fine.

Also I get logged out when in the middle of posting.

 

I'm on a wired connection at 10.0 Mbps when at work. I just went to the 850 forum got the first page real fast, read one thread, clicked on the 2nd page and sat for over two minutes before it came back and said web page not found. When at work I don't have time for that. If the forum goes away, we need to find a place to get back together. It's not looking good here right now. Tech, I have your e-mail address at home so if something happens here, I will get in touch with you.

 

 

This site has been working well for me. Don't eman to advertise other sites, but Volvospeed has GREAT info.

But any forum with Tech is pretty much gold. Hahah.

 

Be careful when using advice from volvospeed.com. People who don't know squat will tell you somehting like they know what they are talking about. There are quite a few that really know their stuff, but the few who think they know their stuff scares me.

Yes there are few posts per page, I assume the forum's administrator is either experimenting something or in the processof making it efficient (I noticed that the Post Reply function has changed a bit, with toolbar on top of the window). It's inconvenient, but hopefully things get back to where they used to be (or better). Does anyone have direct contact with the administrator?

Mr. JimKW, it may be that your ISP server is having a problem with over-flow of accesses, which slows down each user's connections speed (even if your PC says 10MBPS), which you might already know. I assume that you're getting message "404 Site Not Found", which happens when the server is crowded with people (or if the server is under maintenance and off-line), in such case you have to wait a while until some users go off-line. Also, click on the posts a few times to see if it downloads the pages you're seeking. Sometimes it works.

I use Volvospeed.com only for maintenance-related section written by a dealer tech, I only have time to post messages on this side but not on theirs. And with Mr. Tech being here, there's no reason for me to go over there.

I hope this will be solved soon.
