Well, I was testing out my car again today since I got my turbo code gone, and I wanted to check the 0-60 on my ipod with the Dyno App. So I pull over, set the ipod, and when it said go, I granny'd it off for a second then then floor'd it. once I hit 40 I notice this horrible sound, then I just instantly loose power.

Now, the car idles, but it won't stay idling, and I'm also spewing out horrible black smoke. I got my self home by staying partially on the trottle the entire time. i cannot rev in drive above 2K RPM, so somthing is up. Even when I get there it sounds like a dying cat.

Any idea on what could be going? This is the first time its happened, and the first time since I got my turbo going up agin.

 

Something on you intercooler popped open. Which means that your turbo is puming air through the MAF sesor but your engine is scarce of air threby producing black smoke.
- Check all connections on post turbo tubings. try to rev the engine from under the hood and look for leaks by listening to hissss...
it is possible to have a teeth slip on your timing belt.
Turbine broke inside the turbo.

 

Alright, I'll go ahead and check those along with my codes today.

 

Sounds like one of the intercooler hoses blew off.

 

That's what it was. It wasn't screwed on tight enough. Stupid me. Alright, lock!
