Yeah this forum was acting all weird with code and then bam it was down.

 

I picked up quite a few viruses trying to get in.

I don't think we shall have lost too many regulars and hopefully those trying a Google search will hit the site again.

I was starting ot get the DTs.

 

I tried to consult the site when something was messing up on my car and I freaked out and had to take it to the shop without reading for several hours on here first. I was traumatized!

 

I know I was trying to e-mail admin the entire time it was down.

 

Ah, nice to be back.

This got me to thinking, does anyone here not frequent other Volvo forums? I myself frequent three others, and I see from cross-posts (and screen names) in those forums that others doas well. How bout you?

 

I mainly only look through VS. I hate the attitude thats why I usually don't post there.

I am also a Mod. on Volvo-forums.com but not there as much as here. Over there is almost to big for me to handle like I do on this one.
So I help when I can.

Yay, it's back! I was wondering how long it was going to take. Sheesh. I tried emailing VF as well, to offer my help. It seemed like it was a just a matter of a missed quotation mark in one of the lines of code. But what do I know...

 

I thought the server was attacked by a cracker when I saw lines of HTML burbles above the forum title.

Agree about VS. BB is pretty bad at times too. I'm glad it is all up and running again

 

I go on one other site its more local here in uk, but enjoy this one more for some reason.

I'm also a mod on volvo-forums.com. Like tech said, not quite as much action over here.

 

I knew the server was having trouble, as there were lines of HTML burbles above the forum title on the top page, and I had difficulty accessing the forums. Just before it went out, I sent message to the admins.

In case if the server gets down again, I would pm the members you wish to keep in touch with and at least ask for their emails so you'd know where & how they are. Some regular members also participate in other Volvo forums. I only post messages here and visit other forums for technical reference only.
