So I Call iPd a few weeks ago, and talked to a representative about converting a Nivomat Self leveling Shock to a standard non-self leveling style shock and spring for a 2004 xc90. Remember now!! There The Parts, Accessories & Performance Specialists Since 1963. He told me there is no spring or shock out there that will replace the nivomat setup. I asked him even if some light modifications were done to the vehicle to accommodate a spring and shock from a different model that had similar height and load rate shock and spring, and he said nope, no can do, nivomat only, sorry. It's just hard for me to believe that no ever made doesn't have suspension that is close to the xc90 suspension setup. Has anyone Attempted this conversion since the xc90 has been produced over the last 14 years???? or am I the only one that wants to upgrade parts on a xc90, and that would be hard to believe that I am.
