1991 940 SE Need coil springs -do I have Nivomat?
Hi guys,
New member here, and proud owner of a 1991 940 SE -just bought last week. I live in Toronto and one of the things I need to do to pass the safety (car inspection in Ontario), is to change the coil springs in the rear.
I intend to buy those from http://www.autopartsway.ca however they have this notice on the website for the springs: "Not for models equipped with Nivomat self-leveling rear shocks unless rear shocks also replaced with non-self-leveling type."
HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE NIVOMAT? And if I do, where do I get the proper springs? Or does it really matter?
