Hey, I just recently acquired such vehicle and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a few problems that I'm having. For one, the radio doesn't even turn on. I checked the fuse, I tried the anti-theft code. The screen doesn't even turn on and I'm unsure of the solution. I'm not an automobile-savvy person, although I am not too dimwitted for it. I know the basics, so don't think of me as some moron asking stupid questions on this forum. I've owned a few other Volvos; 1994 940, 1986 740, 1991 240, and most recently a 1997 860. So, I've encountered many problems that have come with having a Volvo. I was just wondering if anyone knew what I should do or how I should approach it.

The radio should turn on. I believe thereis more than one fuse for it. If both fuses are ok than the radio is shot. BTW I have a radio for that car that may want to part with.
The 940SEI had was great; for some reason they seem to last longer and wear better than regular 700/900's. May be since they were so expensive the owners took better care of them...
